Purpose
The Committee will advise the Board of Directors on how to improve knowledge and develop education activities on sexual medicine in developing countries. The activities will be planned based on a yearly budget prepared by the treasurer and approved by the EC.
Responsible for:
The Global Outreach Committee will organize educational and scientific activities on sexual medicine in developing countries approved by the ISSM directors.
Committee members have quarterly online meetings and are expected to actively contribute and advise on improving knowledge and developing education activities on sexual medicine in developing countries.
Once a year (during Q3) the committee reviews applications for the ISSM Global Outreach Committee Grant through the online review portal (around 5-10 applications to be reviewed over a period of two weeks).
In addition, committee members may be asked to contribute to a bi-annual report (mid-term and end of the year), prepared by the committee chair for review by the President and ISSM Board.

Chun Wai Chan, MD MPH, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine of International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia. He runs a men’s health clinic in Kuala Lumpur. Dr Chan first obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Calgary, Canada then moved to America for his residency training subsequently. With a great passion for teaching, he took up the highly competitive Faculty Development Fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh, USA.
Dr Chan was the director for the Advanced Training in Family Medicine (ATFM) programme and served as the chairman for ATFM Board. Besides having exemplary leadership, he is also active in publication. Dr Chan was also invited to speak in international conferences alongside with other academicians and experts from around the world. He co-authored a well-received examination preparation book for both the local and Australian doctors who are sitting for the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) Examination.

Dr. Lawrence C. Jenkins received his MD from the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He finished his urology training at the University of Miami and followed that with a fellowship in Male Sexual and Reproductive Medicine at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY. Dr. Jenkins practices at the Tulane University Department of Urology, as an Associate Professor, where he focuses on male sexual and reproductive medicine.

Amr Abdelhamed, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Venereology & Andrology, Sohag University Hospitals, Sohag, Egypt. I completed my master's degree (2009) in male reproductive functions in diabetes mellitus and, MD degree (2016) in silent myocardial infarction and erectile dysfunction. I had an Andrology scholarship in Japan for 2 years at Juntendo University, Tokyo, Japan. My research work is focused on clinical and experimental researches about sexual dysfunction especially in diabetes.
I got the European Academy of Andrology (EAA) certification in male genital ultrasound, after training in 2 EAA centers (Rome- Florence) for 1 month. Also, I become a fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM) after passing the exam in Portugal (2018). In addition to my growing publications in the field of andrology, I contributed reviewing to SMJ, SMOA, IJIR, and Andrologia Journals.

Abdulaziz Baazeem is a Saudi Urologist and Andrologist.
Dr. Baazeem was class valedictorian at graduation from King Abdulaziz University. He went on to complete his residency in urology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He also obtained fellowships in Laser Prostatic Surgery and in Andrology from McGill University.
He is an Associate Professor of Urology at Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. His private practice is at Clinicare, Jeddah. Dr. Baazeem is a Past President of the Middle East Society for Sexual Medicine (MESSM). Prior to that, he also served as Chairman of the MESSM Scientific and Communication Committees and sat on its Board of Directors as an ordinary director. He is the current Chairman of the Society’s Scientific Committee. He was also a Board member of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties’ Urology Scientific Council as well as a member of the Saudi Urology Board Examination Committee. He was an associate editor for Sexual Medicine and was on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Sexual Medicine and is an Editorial Board member of Urology Annals.

Luca Incrocci is Professor of genito-urinary radiotherapy and sexologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Erasmus MC in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. His research is mainly focused on Quality of Life of cancer patients, particularly sexual functioning, and on the development of radiation techniques to decrease side effects after radiation therapy for urological malignancies. Prof. Incrocci is involved in education and training in several African countries, also helping in the development of research programs.He is a member of several scientific societies including the European Association of Urology, the European and International Societies for Sexual Medicine. Prof. Incrocci is a manuscript reviewer for a number of international journals and is the Past-President of the International Society for Sexual Medicine (2016- 2018). He authored more than 200 peer-reviewed papers, reviews, and book chapters and has co-edited the books: Handbook of Sexual and Gender Identity Disorder and Cancer and Sexual Function.
