Dr. Juan José Andino is a urologist who specializes in the evaluation and management of male sexual medicine and male infertility. He is a graduate of University of Michigan's Department of Urology and completed his fellowship training in Male Reproductive Medicine & Surgery at UCLA. Through SMSNA, he was recently selected to chair the Spanish-language committee to broaden the mission of SMSNA to directly engage with our Spanish-speaking physicians, providers, and patients through collaboration with ISSM and SLAMS. He is currently co-chair of the SSMR social media committee and has run 4 different social media accounts for residency programs, departments, and specialty organizations.
Leonardo Seligra Lopes is a Urologist in Brazil graduated of Centro Universitario FMABC and completed his fellowship in Male Reproductive and Sexual Health in the same institution. He achieved the title of Fellow of the European Committee of Sexual Medicine (FECSM) and Masters of Science in Infertility. He is currently General Secretary of the Brazilian Association for Studies in Sexual Medicine (ABEMSS) and also Board Member of the Latin American Society of Sexual Medicine. As a member of the Communication Committe of the Brazilian Society of Urology since 2019 he has participated in many of new socia media projects, including UroTalks PodCast and more. He is the past winner of ISSM Social Media Prize in 2021 and 2022. He also runs FMABC Urology department social media and is present in Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.
After completing her residency in OB/GYN at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Sonia Bahlani pursued a fellowship in the urology department working with pioneers in pelvic pain. Training in both areas gives her a unique, comprehensive foundation and has allowed her to treat women with a variety of urologic and gynecologic pelvic pain syndromes. Through her training, Dr. Bahlani is able to take a holistic view of common women’s health issues. She takes a compassionate, patient-centric approach and listens to her patients to gain a deep understanding of their challenges. This allows her to develop a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan aimed at addressing the issue from all angles to improve their quality of life beyond what they thought possible.
In her efforts to bring the topics of pelvic pain and women’s sexual health out from behind closed doors and find real, proven solutions for those in pain, Dr. Bahlani continues to be involved in research and has presented at numerous conferences, as well as being published in top national and international journals. She has been featured in Forbes, Cosmopolitan, Romper, LifeHacker, Glamour, and the Dr. Oz Show. She is author of the newly released book “ Dr. Sonia’s Guide to Navigating Pelvic Pain—Result Oriented Strategies for Better Quality of Life” now available where all books are sold.
David Ley is a board-certified clinical psychologist, sex therapist and author, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He's the author of several books and research articles on sexuality, including his second book, The Myth of Sex Addiction, which prompted much of the modern dialogue about the validity of the concept of sex or porn addition. Dr. Ley frequently testifies as an expert witness about matters of psychology and sexuality. He has contributed to research about sexuality, mental health, clinical practices and substance use treatment.
Dr. Fenwa Milhouse is a board-certified urologist and fellowship-trained sub-specialist in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She previously worked for the largest private practice in the state of Illinois as the leading pelvic floor surgeon. She is currently the co-founder and co-owner of Down There Urology in Chicago -a specialized urology clinic focused on sexual dysfunction, hormone therapy, and cosmetic genital enhancement in men and women.
Dr. Milhouse enjoys using social media to destigmatize pelvic floor & sexual conditions, as well as demonstrate the importance of representation in Urology. Known by the world as "Your Favorite Urologist”, she has been featured on several media outlets including Yahoo, Forbes Health, GQ, HuffPost, Essence Magazine, CNN, and Insider to name a few. In 2023, Dr. Milhouse became the star of TLC network’s Dr. Down Below!
